How many CRS points does a Nova Scotia nomination add?

Nova Scotia PNP 2026 — NSNP

Nova Scotia runs one of the last streams in Canada that will reach into the Express Entry pool and tap you on the shoulder without an employer being involved at all. Labour Market Priorities issues letters of interest, usually targeted at specific occupations, and you cannot apply for it — you can only be visible in the pool when it happens.

Because you cannot apply, the strategy is different: keep an Express Entry profile active, keep your occupation coded correctly, and keep your language scores current, so that when a targeted draw happens for your NOC you are in it.

Nova Scotia Experience is the more predictable route for people already in the province — one year of skilled work already done there, no job offer needed, linked to Express Entry so the nomination carries the full 600 points.
